Authorized Provider

 

Authorized Provider is the designation for the untrained reseller.

In order to become a MasterMine Provider,  VARs must:

                 Attend an on-line basic MasterMine training (free with NFR).

 

MasterMine Providers receive:

 

Œ         30% discount off the wholesale price of all purchases

of MasterMine software.

Gold Provider

 

To become a Gold MasterMine Provider, you must:

 

Œ         Purchase an unlimited NFR copy of MasterMine for $495, and

                 Have at least one staff person who has received on-line

Basic and Advanced Training ($150) in MasterMine.

 

Gold Providers receive:

 

Œ         30% discount off the retail price of MasterMine software.

Ž          Free listing on our VAR locator website.

         25% Discount on MasterMine phone and web-support (trained personnel only)

       Elligible to receive MasterMine client leads

 

Platinum Provider

 

To qualify for Platinum Provider (and remain qualified), you must:

 

Œ                 Have purchased for resale in the previous quarter at least $4000 worth 

          of MasterMine software at the wholesale price -- or purchase the VAR package.

�                 Have at least one staff person who has received the highest level of

          MasterMine Training (“MasterMiner”) for toolkit-level customization

Ž         Have an unlimited-user NFR license for MasterMine

 

Platinum Providers receive:

 

Œ         40% discount off the retail price on all purchases of MasterMine software.

2.  Pricing Schedule Changes Effective July 1

 

The new pricing schedule is shown below, with three changes: 1) new 3-seat minimum, and 2) 15-and 20-user licenses available, and 3) 5-user incremental seat upgrades now possible.

 

Seat upgrades now may be purchased in 5-packs at the prorated price of the next higher level. The result is that you can upgrade existing licenses at a lower cost than under the previous schedule.

 

                                                       

 

Seat Upgrade Pricing Example

Upgrading a 5-user (retail $1495) to a 15-user used to require purchasing a 10-user at full price. The cost for the upgrade, under the previous pricing policy, would have been $2495, for a total 15-user investment cost of $1495 + $2495 = $3990.

Now, a 10-user upgrade from 5 to 15 costs $2330 ($233 per seat) for a total investment of $3825.

 

 

No More One-Seaters

As of July 1, 2001, MasterMine Software will no longer be sold as a single user license. MasterMine was designed to put quick and easy analysis and reporting capabilities into the hands of anyone needing information. No longer do sales managers, marketing managers, executives, and GoldMine administrators need to turn to the “Report Guy/Gal” with their questions, then wait hours or days for the answers. With decentralizing information extraction our focus, it no longer makes sense to offer a single user license as that suggests analysis and reporting need to be a narrow, single-user function.

 

MasterMine Software is recognized to deliver an exceptional value – a new way to manage GoldMine, not just another “add-on.” MasterMine enables GoldMine users to extract and share information in ways previously available only with high-end CRM systems. For these reasons, and considering all the additional data cleaning, segmenting, data and process management functionality that MasterMine makes available, a minimum entry price of $995 for 3 seats should be no barrier.

 

3.  Training at GoldMine VAR conference in Vail, Colorado

 

Sign up in advance for MasterMine training at the GoldMine Business Building Conference 2001 in August. One two-hour training session will be offered on Thursday, August 16 at the conference hotel.  The two-hour session will cost $125 per person, $95 if you sign up by July 31.

 

If you have never used MasterMine, the session will provide you with Basic Training and MasterMine Sales Training. If you have had MasterMine training, use this as a Refresher Course that will show you how to use and sell MasterMine more easily, as well as prepare you for Advanced Training. Session attendees will benefit from sharing ideas with other VARs and learning from each other’s experiences.

4.  User Tip: Making One-Button Graphs & Charts

 

Do you have MasterMine prospects that you would like to wow? Show them the one-button charting capability that charts or graphs their current data in whatever form they select. Simply create a simple data table, then click on the charting button   on the MasterMine toolbar.

 

Once made, charts and graphs can be saved easily, printed or e-mailed to others. We all know that when it comes to making your case, a picture is worth a thousand words!

 

5.  MasterMine Sales Support on the Web

 

The new marketing toolkit at www.mastermineVAR.com/MarketingToolkit.html is now available to help you get fast results with minimal marketing investment. Download and use the e-mail templates, massfaxes, self-running ScreenCam demo, etc. Use MasterMine, not only to enhance your GoldMine sales, but also as a vehicle to get upgrade business from your existing customers!
