Combined Pending/History Reporting
The usual activity-level reporting, but combines pending and history into a single report, even allowing you to limit on just calls, appointments, etc. or any combination.
2.Primary E-mail Address as a Common Field (SQL only)
The e-mail address for main contact appears in the field list as a C1 field, the same as any other field in the Contact1 (main account) table.
3.QuoteWerks® Integration
Users of QuoteWerks version 4.0 (SQL version only!) can now access QuoteWerks-only OR QuoteWerks data linked to GoldMine account data. For example, show orders for records with a Key2 value of “Active” in GoldMine.
4.Details Plus® Integration
Automatically uses DetailsPlus field definitions when you select “Details/Profiles” on the main report screen. You get all fields from GoldMine “Profiles” available, and the ability to display and analyze them as dates or values, just like in DetailsPlus.
5.Toolbar Button Adds Reports to GM Taskbar for 1-Button Launch
From inside any report, click the toolbar icon to “deploy” the report to any GoldMine user for easy, 1-button launch. Even allows you to conveniently set “automatic refresh”, and disable MSQuery or drilldown.
6.New Templates for Activity Analysis and Administration
A dozen new templates, including the new “Activity Analysis” toolkit which presents much-requested reports on “Last Completed Activity”, “Last Call”, etc.
7.Screen HTML From Notes (SQL2000+ only)
For SQL users whose notes in Pending or History include HTML coding, only text is displayed.
8.Formatted Drill-down Data
Change field names or field items in your pivot table (as easy as typing over the original) and changes follow through to Drill-down sheets.
9.New "Search-Grouping" Options
In addition to grouping on “any” and “all” of several elements contained in a rowfield’s items, new options include grouping those that contain “none” of the elements listed, and allows wildcards to be used. Greatly improves your onscreen grouping ability, and therefore data segmentation and formatting.
10.Background Query Display in Excel
New “Display box” on MasterMine toolbar in Excel allows user to see underlying query, change connection string elements, and quickly investigate data source info.
How can existing MasterMine users upgrade?
MasterMine End-Users with Annual Maintenance may upgrade for FREE. Just download the current MasterMine v5.1 from this website, install over the existing software, and call toll-free
(877) 877-7212 for a v5.1 license number. (No need to re-license if you have a v5.0 license.)
Users without Annual Maintenance may receive the upgrade immediately for 40% of the current equivalent-seat retail price. At the same time, you may initiate or re-instate Annual Maintenance for 20% of the software price, so that next time your upgrade is FREE.
What is the cost to upgrade?
When you purchase the version 5.x software, you can "trade in" your previous version of MasterMine. Start with the full price, then deduct for previous purchases at the following rates:
80% of the price you paid for Version 5 more than 30 days ago
60% of Version 4 software
40% of Version 3 software
20% of Version 2 software
At the same time, get Annual maintenance for 20% more instead of the normal 40% reinstatement fee.
What if my clients or I don't want to upgrade to Version 5.1 now?
a) Upgrading to v5.1, while extremely beneficial for the end-user (many of the improvements are in response to user requests), is entirely optional. No client is compelled to upgrade.
b) To keep receiving updates most economically, keep your MasterMine annual mainteance current. Note that re-joining MasterMine maintenance costs twice as much as renewal if maintenance is allowed to lapse.
c) WARNING: If you download and install v5.1 over version 4.0 or earlier, it will cease to function until the license is upgraded. MasterMine does not provide free services to restore invalidated MasterMine installations.
