Partner Program Rules

MasterMine Software, Inc. is committed to maximizing shared profitability with its partners in a fair but aggressive selling environment. To ensure the most harmonious and profitable working relationship between MasterMine Software and our partners, we have established the following rules. 
 
Note that these rules are subject to change, with appropriate notice to partners, by posting to this website.


Partner Responsibilities to earn full MasterMine benefits:

  1. Actively and aggressively promote MasterMine as part of partner's general GoldMine sales and consulting practice. 

  2. Leverage free MasterMine training to ensure that staff can knowledgably discuss and sell MasterMine as a component of virtually any GoldMine sale. 

  3. Link a MasterMine product description page on Dealer's corporate Website (template can be provided by MasterMine) to a co-branded web form with Flash demo created and hosted by MasterMine.  All leads are traced back to originating website so that Dealer's leads are properly credited.




  4. Participate actively at least once per quarter in marketing activities targeting partner's full database of known GoldMine users.  These activities may include email blasts using MasterMine-provided templates, direct mail opportunities, VAR-hosted webinars, and online newsletters. Activities are free or involve sharing costs with MasterMine, require minimal partner activity and are always subject to prior approval by MasterMine.

  5. Publicly advertise MasterMine products only at full retail price.  Partner may not publish any discount offer for MasterMine.  Any infraction of this rule will result in removal from MasterMine's online "Partner Locator", forfeiture of outstanding margins, and potential dismissal from the VAR program.

  6. Designate at least one MasterMine "point person" at partner's company who will be responsible to ensure active participation in MasterMine-related sales and marketing efforts.  Designee will coordinate use of free MasterMine training, support, and cooperative marketing opportunities.

  7. Represent MasterMine products to end users truthfully and ethically at all times.

  8. Provide MasterMine a current copy of your State Sales Tax Permit Number (sometimes called a "Resale Permit" or "Seller's Permit") to confirm that partner is authorized to purchase software for purposes of resale.

MasterMine Responsibilities in support of partners:

  1. Cooperatively promote partner's sales of MasterMine products and, where possible, GoldMine sales efforts, by providing free or inexpensive marketing opportunities, including marketing and sales materials, e-mail templates, newsletters, webinars, mailers, promotions, and web presence. 

  2. Take all reasonable steps to credit partner appropriately for their involvement in procuring leads, demoing MasterMine products, and generally selling MasterMine products.  As a partner, the surest way to get full partner credit is to take payment and forward the dealer-discounted price to MasterMine.

Partners receive credit ("margins") for the following:


  3. Where feasible, provide free, real-time online support for deals in progress, for salespeople seeking technical assistance, and for End Users operating MasterMine products on a trial basis.

  4. Actively encourage partner's clients to use partner's services, and generally cooperate with partner in closing package deals involving MasterMine products and services.

  5. Avoid competition with partner for consulting dollars whenever possible.  MasterMine does not sell GoldMine software or promote customization services exclusive of MasterMine products.

  6. Promote partner on its Partner Locator including premium billing for the most productive partners.

  7. Abide by confidentiality of customer information and data that partner may entrust to MasterMine in the course of doing business with us.

  8. Provide free reseller training, NFR (Not-For-Resale) software, and basic technical support for partner's internal use of MasterMine commensurate with partner's MasterMine sales activity and effort.

  9. Support partner in taking advantage of MasterMine's highly-search engine ranked website as seamlessly as possible while maintaining trackability of leads.

  10. Provide reciprocal links to and from partner's website, including hosted MasterMine introductory pages, online demo sign-up, and customized flash demo, all with look and feel of partner's website.
